As a California Historic Landmark for its status as a planned historic community, the Covenant is known as the oldest developed area of the Rancho Santa Fe. The renowned and exclusive Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club, situated at the heart of the Covenant, hosted the Bing Crosby golf tournament and clambake from 1937–47. The Covenant
The oldest homeowners association in Rancho Santa Fe is the Rancho Santa Fe Protective Covenant.

The Bridges
Home to seven bridges and a championship golf course, The Bridges is a gated community with 240 homes in the eastern region of Rancho Santa Fe. The golf course is known for the annual Battle of the Bridges tournament.

Cielo
A gated development on more than 1,700 acres in east Rancho Sansta Fe, Cielo, meaning sky, is aptly named for the high peak that provides prominent serene views for residents.

The Crosby
Named for legendary singer and actor, Bing Crosby, this gated community features The Crosby National Golf Course.

Rancho Pacifica
Almost half of Rancho Pacifica’s 400 acres are protected as open space.

Hacienda Santa Fe
A community east of the Covenant with an active homeowner’s association but that is not gated.

Fairbanks Ranch
A gated community on more than 75 acres with a lake, clubhouse, 9-hole putting green, five tennis courts, and a park. There are many beautiful walking trails throughout this safe, park-like community.

Del Mar Country Club
Home to a 50,000-square-foot clubhouse and an 18-hole Joseph Lee golf course, a junior Olympic-size swimming pool, and six tennis courts is the Del Mar Country Club community is southwest Rancho Santa Fe.

Whispering Palms
The private Morgan Run Resort and Club is the centerpiece to the Whispering Palms community in west Rancho Santa Fe.
